The School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS), Centre for Public Health at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Clinical Coding and Registration Advisor.
The successful candidate will work in a multi-professional team in the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry (NICR) so that the overall data related objectives are met and be responsible for providing clinical coding and registration advice to the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry (NICR) and actively link with professional bodies such as the International Association of Cancer Registries (IACR), the European Network of Cancer Registries (ENCR) and the United Kingdom and Ireland Association of Cancer Registries (UKIACR) in order to enhance data availability and quality for the NICR.

This is a fixed term post available until 31 March 2024. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
