To help lead this groundbreaking initiative, we are seeking an Engineering Director for Momentum One Zero to play a pivotal role in executing this strategic vision for Queen’s University Belfast.
As Momentum One Zero’s Engineering Director you will work with the senior management team to lead on bridging the gap between research excellence and the commercialisation of world leading research, supporting all M1.0 innovation activities. You will play a pivotal role in developing digital eco-systems across priority growth sectors for Northern Ireland as required under the Belfast Region City Deal. These will take the form of Hubs of Impact, bringing together multiple companies and M1.0 Engineers to drive impactful innovation. You will be comfortable providing leadership to a multi-disciplinary team of professional software and hardware engineers working across a broad spectrum of leading-edge technologies.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
