Two posts are available to provide IT Service Desk and related support duties within the University’s computing services. By successfully completing your apprenticeship, you will gain the skills, qualifications and experience to undertake the role of an Apprentice Computer Assistant which will encompass the duties listed.
Becoming an IT apprentice at Queen’s University Belfast is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and training. You will work alongside experienced colleagues, whilst learning on the job and appropriate objectives will be set during the apprenticeship. At the same time, you will study for formal IT qualifications and be paid to do so.
About the person:
Note: Apprenticeships are designed to develop new knowledge and skills at a higher level than you already have, or in a new vocational area.
You will not be eligible to apply if you already hold the same or similar qualification in the same vocational area e.g. ONC/D, HNC/D or degree in a computer related subject.
