As an apprentice you will join an established technical team in the CNC Engineering Workshop and will be provided with an excellent opportunity to start a career as a Technician. During the apprenticeship you will learn & develop the necessary skills, expertise and experience to provide assistance to the members of the technical team and ultimately be able to fully perform the role of Fabrication and Welding Technician in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
In partnership with Belfast Metropolitan College, learning and development will include on-job-training, mentoring and the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification. Enrolment and meeting the College requirements for the relevant course/qualification will be required; further guidance will be given to successful applicants.

This is a two year fixed term post. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
