The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is seeking a Research Fellow in the area of autonomous collision avoidance strategies for maritime vehicles.
The position will assume responsibility for the delivery of specific research objectives as part of a recently awarded UKRI funded project held by the Principal Investigator (PI) Dr Wasif Naeem.
You will be an active member of the Energy, Power and Intelligent Control research team and will be based at our multidisciplinary centre for Intelligent Autonomous Manufacturing Systems (i-AMS).
This role offers substantial career development with an opportunity to work closely with industrial collaborators, assisting in the planning and delivery of research activity within the general area of autonomous systems and robotics.
This post is available on a fixed term contract for 22 months or until 31/01/2024. (whichever soonest)
