This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and creative individual to join the research team working on the Wellcome-funded project “Understanding causes and impacts of financial toxicity among cancer patients, survivors, and their families in the United Kingdom (GIFT).” The GIFT project is a 5-year Wellcome-funded study examining the causes and impacts of financial toxicity among cancer patients, survivors, and their families in the UK. The postholder will be embedded in a vibrant research environment and will contribute to both the scientific and societal impact of the project.
This is a part time position (0.4 FTE) for 2 years. The postholder will provide research support across several components of the project, including participant recruitment and follow-up for a cohort study, data management and analysis for survey data, and assistance with qualitative research activities. The successful candidate will contribute to data collection, analysis, and dissemination, gaining valuable experience in applied health research and in working with patients, families, and healthcare stakeholders.

Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
