Having launched its Strategy 2030 to Shape A Better World through life-changing education and research, it is vital for the organisation to attract the very best talent into key leadership roles to drive the delivery of its strategic objectives. It is with this in mind that Queen’s University Belfast is seeking to appoint a highly credible and driven finance leader as the Director of Finance.
Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Finance and Resource Officer, the Director of Finance will lead a large multi-disciplinary team across a range of key financial, commercial and accounting service activities, including finance business partnering, treasury management, investments and capital planning, as well as providing crucial financial and commercial advice and support to the Belfast Region City Deal Programme.
The Director of Finance will have significant financial leadership experience within a large or complex organisation, with exceptionally strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with an analytical and creative mindset capable of developing solutions at pace to support the University’s growth and change agenda.
