In collaboration with Rolls-Royce, the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Research Fellow to be a highly productive and ambitious member of the project team. The successful applicant will investigate aeroelastic simulation methods to support structural design for next generation aircraft and engine architectures and technologies.
Direct collaboration with Rolls-Royce will be an important feature of the role, with regular visits to their state of the art facilities. You will have extensive opportunities to showcase your work to project partners at regular technical meetings and workshops.
You will become a key member of an interdisciplinary team of experts from Queen’s University Belfast and Rolls-Royce working on this exciting initiative.

This is a fixed term post for 18 months. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
