The School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EEECS) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Research Fellow in Novel Propagation Manipulating Tools including Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces.
The successful candidate will be a highly productive, ambitious and collaborative member of the ‘’Realising Enabling Architectures and Solutions for Open Networks (REASON)’’ project. They will be assist in the creation of a new generation of electromagnetic signal propagation manipulating tools, such as Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs) and Reconfigurable Intelligent Edges (RIEs), that will work as part of future open networks and they will become an active member of the Centre for Wireless Innovation and the School of EEECS at QUB, assisting in the production of world leading research output.

This post is fixed term for 21 months or until 28 February 2025, whichever is sooner. Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
